The Freedom Tower

The Cornerstone ceremony is today at Ground Zero and that's a good thing. The tower will be the tallest building in the world and most New Yorkers feel the same way I do. Make it big, put it up there so you can see it for miles. Know why? Because it's New York's way of saying fuck you to the terrorists. That's right, you knocked our buildings down and killed a whole bunch of us, but you didn't scare us and we're not cowering. Fuck you, we're gonna rebuild and it'll be bigger than before. Fuck you all, you Fundamentalist assholes. New Yorkers scared? Fuhgeddaboutit.

Now, about some of the families of the victims of 9/11 who are bitching about building another tower there. I'm talking about the people who believe the entire 16-acre complex should be a memorial. Shut the fuck up and go home. There will be a beautiful memorial on the site, but we're talking about the most expensive real estate in the world. Do you realize what the City and State of New York made from WTC in taxes, fees, and the dollars spent in the local community? Yes, it's a bad thing that happened there, but you people need a fucking life. A building HAS to go up there, just the way we're doing it (the fuck you factor), so just shut the fuck up.
