It seems as if a whole boatload of New Jerseyans who'd served honorably, done their time, and then got out, are now being recalled to active duty. Can they fuck these folks any more?
Buddy of mine just got a letter from the Army. They want him back too, but he's not going. He's willing to do time in Leavenworth than become cannon fodder. Don't know if I agree but I can't blame him for his sentiment. He's been out 2 years, met a lovely girl, and they're getting married next month, looking to start a family. The kid's got his whole life ahead of him and I can understand his motivation. Bill over at Whiskey Bar put it best a couple weeks ago.
