Gaza

The Head Heeb looks at several scenarios but believes the Israeli disengagement in the Gaza Strip is a done deal even though Sharon's government is starting to come apart.

While any separation of IDF units and the Palestinians is welcome, hopefully reducing the flashpoint, there are still big issues to deal with; the West Bank Settlements, Jerusalem, Palestinian Right of Return, and others. Without any active U.S. engagement, not only with Sharon and Arafat, but with the moderate Arabs; Hussein's kid in Jordan, that cutthroat Mubarak in Egypt, and those in the Emirates. This shit's gotta get fixed before we can ever expect an end to the terror problem. The U.S. has to take the lead and get other nations in the region engaged, not just shrug our shoulders every time the IDF decides to kick over a refugee camp.
